Update July 2011

Hello everyone!

I thought that it had probably been too long since I posted on my blog, so here is an update on what I have been getting up to.

In the past couple months, since going freelance, I have been working on a couple of web projects. One for a new dental services company, and one for a beauty services practitioner. Aside from that I have been working on a few posters, flyers, brochure etc. and I have been learning and expanding my skillset.

Tweet, tweet... On the twitter

Yes that is right, I have joined the Twitter band wagon.

I have to say I find it weirdly satisfying to tweet about things that most people probably won't care about.

Anyhooo, I have started work on a wee project, so keep your eye out for it appearing on the site. Oh, and I have been given permission to show some of the work I did while at my last job. So that will be up soon.

Victoria and Albert Building, Dundee

if you haven't seen this already, I suggest you have a look. As part of the new waterfront development in Dundee, they are planning to put in a new victoria and albert design museum building (whatever it actually is). This is very exciting! It will be Scotlands premier venue for design exhibitions.

Not all the designs are to my taste, but there are some really nice ideas.

New site design, new era!

Well, it has finally happened. After a few years stagnating, the Unclad Design website has been update with:

• New Styles (let me know what you think)
• New Information
• Some new work.

I have kept some of the work I had on the site before, and hopefully more new work will be on the way really soon.
